Archangel Michael is one among a Council of Nine (Council of Light) that guides the lightwork of those on the planet who seek enlightenment. Therefore, it is only fitting that the Order of Archangel Michael on Earth have a board of directors equivalent to the Council of Nine.

Our human "Council of Nine" consists of Order of Archangel Michael members who agree to serve for a period of 18 months. Their duties may include assisting in creating a Code of Honor and Mission Statement for the Order of Michael website, planning and implementing events, updating the OoM calendar and determining if listings meet the criteria for OoM promotion, deciding on candidates for feature articles, etc.

Those on the Council are chosen for their level of integrity, their expertise and excellence and their commitment to service. The first Council's term will run from June 2005 through December 2006. The Council will meet three to four times a year (or less as needed) to formulate and enact their responsibilities.

Council of Nine members receive several benefits during their term of service including free attendance to OoM events, a free web page on the OoM site, discounts on T-shirts or other OoM merchandise and additional discounts on sessions or workshops with the Order's Founder Diana Henderson, who serves as the Council's Chairperson.
